i only know that because my boyfriend’s brother was in that musical in high school (he played Ali Hakeem, the Persian peddler) and their parents dragged us, kicking and screaming, into the theater to watch him perform.

I live in Oklahoma and end my state history class every year by showing the Rogers and Hammerstein (sp?) movie to my students……I’d know that song ANYWHERE!
