Make Me Feel Cool

So, its Friday afternoon.  You’re either at work and counting down the hours until 5:00 or you’re at home counting down the hours until you can have a glass of wine without the neighbors talking.  Or you’re in your dorm room counting down the hours until the closest happy hour starts.  Or you’re… nevermind.

Clearly, you could be anywhere right now.

But I bet wherever you are, you’re looking for something to do, right?  Well, I have just the thing for you!  You should go vote.  Really.  Voting is fun.  Voting is your civic duty.  Voting is…well…the cool thing to do.

Here’s the deal.  I have been nominated for a Bloggie Award this year (which is just about as nerdy as it sounds…) and now I need more nominations.  Don’t worry.  This time is different than the last.  The Bloggie Awards have been around for ten years and they’ve got this voting thing down to a tee.  As far as I know, you only have to vote one time.  No other rounds.  No multiple voting until your fingers fall off.  Just one simple vote.

And then I’ll feel cool and my blog will appear on Oprah and I’ll get a book deal for a couple million dollars and I’ll take you guys all out for pizza and beer.  How’s THAT for a bribe?

I’m a high roller.
