Be Still My Heart
This afternoon when we all got home from work and school, Chris and I spread out Bean’s big blanket on the floor and started helping him with the crawling.
But Bean got tired and so he flopped over on his back. Crawling is hard work, dude.
And I was tired from working a full day. So, I flopped down with him.
Luckily, Chris was on hand to make us giggle, so we rolled around laughing and squirming and doing everything EXCEPT crawling for half an hour.
I do love coming home to that little man.

I get home from work around 6:45pm and I immediately walk in the house, kick off my shoes, kiss Porter on the cheek and lay down with him on the floor as he plays. He usually gives me a kiss too. I just feel the need to be physically close to him when I get home.

Bean is so cute. His little face looks different this week. I don’t quite know what it is. Maybe his hair is different? Really long on top and in front?

I think his little face is finally filling out because he’s eating more food now. We’ve been noticing changes in his look lately, too. He’s getting heavier!! 🙂

I love this post! Rohan and I do this in the mornings. I get up and shower, change and dress him, plop him down on our bed, make it around him, and then from about 7-7:30, we roll around on the bed and laugh and he feels my face and hair and giggles while I sing songs and attack him with Paddington Bear. It is by FAR the best part of my day.
