Tunnel of Love

“Hey, Bean,” said Molly.  “What are you doing?”

“I’m just sittin’ in my tunnel,” Bean said.  “Wanna come in here with me?”

“I don’t think I can fit,” said Big Molly.

“Sure you can!  Here, I’ll pull you in,” said Bean.

“It won’t work,” said Molly.  “I’m too big!”

“Well, then I’ll come out there and sit with you!” said Bean.

“Oh, Bean,” said Big Molly.  “You’re the best!”

“Thanks for offering to come out here with me, but why don’t you stay in your tunnel and play and I’ll just sit out here beside you.”

“Okay, Big Molly,” said Bean.  “I like it when you’re beside me.”

“I’ll always be beside you, Bean,” said Big Molly.

wow, that’s probably the cutest thing, especially Molly giving Beanie a big ol’ kiss….It’s so great how Molly just want to be next to him and doesn’t care what he does to her….I wish our lab was like that, he must missed that day when they were handing out child tolerance, I don’t know what we’ll do when we have kids…

The picture of Molly licking his face reminded me of the time my husband smeared peanut butter all over my daughter’s face and let him chase her around the house licking it off. Funny. Nasty. But Funny.

Oh Good Lord, this is so cute! They are the best of friends! It makes it even sweeter that they relate only through sounds and body language, on such an instinctual level. This post made my day – Thanks!

First of all, the picture of Molly licking Bean is probably my favorite picture ever!

Second, as someone that had the same dog from the ages of 2-18, that relationship is great. Sadie, no offense to Molly, was the best dog ever and having her throughout my childhood was great. She was a constant friend and protector. I think it is so awesome that your Bean is going to have that too!

  19. The greatest. EVER! What wonderful pals!

I had my dog, Sugar, from the time I was one until I was 16. She was my friend and she always took care of me. It’s such a great relationship, and she will always look out for Bean.
