Zero to Sixty really, really fast.

All day on Saturday I got to play with one of the coolest toys I have ever experienced, all 265 horsepower of it.  I want to take this time to welcome and introduce the PORSCHE CAYMAN to The Man Cave, just know that you can come back anytime! Really.  Anytime.

Words can’t even describe the experience.  You know in your car (and my car for that matter) when you pull out in front of someone and you step on the pedal but it only has so much juice.  Well in this car, you could push that pedal all the way to the floor and it would say “REALLY, THAT’S IT, we can go MUCH faster than this!  COME ON!  And you know in your car when you need to slow down a little around corners…  not in this baby.  Third gear was the by far the best.  I was going 50 on the interstate in second gear, dropped it into third and stepped on it,in about 2 secs we were going 80.

WOW just thinking about it again gives me chills.  It was so much fun!!!!!!!!   Thanks Uncle Tim for buying that car.  And even more thanks for letting me drive it!  I don’t want to say it, but I looked GOOD driving this thing.

WHEW!

I WANT ONE.

AWESOME.

I will NOT be showing this post to my husband. Because it even left me wanting to drive a porche.

This morning my husband said to me “I can’t wait until I get my sports car”. I said “WHAT?!?” He said “Yeah, you said I could get one when I’m 50”. Somehow, I don’t think over the next 25 years he’s going to forget I said that… damn.

K so coming from a girl this MIGHT sound weird.. BUT DAMN YOU ARE LUCKY.. the only reason i am studying is to own one of these babies one day.. at first i was just going to buy one to look at it and savor the beauty of such an angelic creation.( maybe not so weird coming from a girl) . but ure little description of the ride up there might make me finally get my license… its oh so beautiful!

I was brought home in a ’63 Corvette Stingray. If you’ve ever seen one, you realize that there’s no room for a baby in there. It must have been back in the day when car seats were optional. Pretty soon after coming home, a more practical car was purchased, but my dad still hung on to that Stingray! 🙂
