Wedding Weekend Extravaganza, Part III

After hair and make up, all the bridesmaids met back up at Ginny’s BFF’s house for a light champagne lunch…

I can’t believe my baby sister is a BRIDE!!!! And such a pretty one.

At first, I thought I would wing it with my toast because I couldn’t ever write anything down. But at Michelle’s house, I panicked and locked myself in her closet and wrote it out.

The many faces of a Bride…

IMG_2242

Its really too bad that Ginny is so shy…

IMG_2243

Maybe the champagne was a bad idea.

After lunch, the wedding party drove over to the church to get dressed…

The flowers arrive

Diamond hoop earrings. Niiiiice.

John Michael’s mom came by to see Ginny and told her those earrings were so beautiful they could be worn with anything…OR NOTHING! (Shirley wants grandbabies…)

My dad arrives at the church looking so handsome

IMG_2283

If ever there was a Daddy’s Girl, Ginny is it. Those two are like peas and carrots!

IMG_2285

This might be my favorite picture ever taken of my parents. They look so handsome and happy.

Time to get Ginny in her dress…

Ginny was so excited about putting on her dress

IMG_2291

But maybe even more excited about putting on her Jimmy Choo’s!

Checking out her bow

IMG_2297

Ginny put my veil on me when I got married and I put her veil on for her. And we cried both times.

How did she walk in heels that high on her wedding days. My nerves and excitment would have had me on the floor if I wore those!!!

Love your sisters dress with the bow in the back! Your parents are a handsome couple! I almost cried looking at these pictures. I think one day I will be marrying off my two daughters! beautiful pictures!

  • Kelli

This is really random, but I know your sister’s best friend, Michelle, from college. I went to UF also. I don’t know her well, but I kept thinking she looked familiar, and then I realized I knew her name, and I looked her up on facebook, and we are already friends on there! Anyway, small world, I guess!

    ALL VERY PRETTY!!!
I knew I could count on you for DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS of each step with pictures!! 🙂

    I’m happy for Ginny! BEAUTIFUL

(are you going to share the MOH toast???) 😉

  • Casey

Everyone looks so beautiful… especially the bride! Chris looks very handsome all dressed up… and so does Bean Man!

When I got married, I didn’t cry until my sister-in-law (my brother’s wife who has pretty much been my sister since I was 13) helped me put my jewelry on. 🙂

  • Kristin

Ginny is radiant – and everything looks so amazing! It’s great that the two of you got married in the same church, even! I remember that choir robe room – ahhh memories.

  • Jaclyn

These pictures are beyond gorgeous! ALL of the dresses are so, so pretty. And I love the colors. Everyone looks so happy – the candid pics are great 🙂

I’m going to be in one of my best friend’s wedding’s this fall and this is making me so excited for the whole thing!

  • Sarah

She looked radiant!! The dress looked really good on her! I love Bean’s face when he sees his Aunt Ginny, so precious! And I’m still dying laughing over the Shirley wants grand babies comment. But Ginny should probably tell you when she’s ready for a baby…so that you can prepare yourself for being pregnant with twins. Since you alway seem to up stage her and all 😉 JK….kinda.

  • Ashley

The back of Ginny’s dress is AMAZING! I love the bow and I love how the bridesmaid dresses coordinated! Bean was adorable, as always. And I LAUGHED OUT LOUD at the comment about the diamond earrings. HILARIOUS! I don’t know what I would say if my future mother in law said that to me!

  • Laura

Oh, what a beautiful wedding. Your family could be in a commercial, you’re all too cute! 🙂

I’ve always wanted a wedding like this! Gorgeous and so classy, with a little silliness thrown in.

  • Laura (not the same one as above)

Since everyone is going to comment on how beautiful the bride looks (which she absolutely does), I just wanted to say that you mom looks stunning as well! That picture of your parents is a really great photo, they look so happy and proud. 😀

    • Beanie's Nana

Thank you, Laura. I’ll gladly volunteer to help you plan your wedding, too, as long as its not in the next five years!

  • Julie

When I read that you and your sister put on each other’s veils and cried, I almost cried. Makes me wish I had a sister.

Then I read about the Florida Gators garter and almost choked! And then I remembered that I did the same thing five years ago…but it was an Ohio State Buckeyes garter. But, I don’t live in Florida…

  • Christina

I feel like I know you guys and I have so much I would love to say! 🙂 This was an awesome post…all the women in your family are so beautiful! You are so funny with your captions. JM’s mom is hilarious! The picture of your parents is perfect! The pictures of you all getting ready are gorgeous, wonderful captures of a moment in time that flies by and yet is so poignant! You both cried putting on the veils, so did I! Your baby boy is sooo handsome. Bean’s face is priceless…and the beginning of many of this kind of picture. Seriously.
    What a wonderful day!!
