Happy 3rd Birthday, Bean!
Tomorrow, June 1, is Bean’s 3rd birthday. But I’m too excited to wait the one hour and fifteen minutes to post this on his actual birthday. We are celebrating tomorrow morning with Bean’s favorite breakfast – powdered donuts! And then we’re taking Lightning McQueen cupcakes to school for a party tomorrow afternoon. Then, after school, we are packing up and heading to our hometown to celebrate with Chris’s mom and her parents, who haven’t seen Bean in a couple years and who have not yet met Gracie. We’re only there for the weekend, and will be heading home on Sunday. A short trip, but it kicks off Bean’s birthday “season.” We have this actual birthday tomorrow, his first party on Saturday, and then his friends and family party the following weekend back here in Orlando. ‘Tis the season.
I can’t believe it has been three years since Bean Man came into our lives. He has brought so much sunshine into our lives. He’s becoming such a sweet, kind, gentle little boy, and I am so proud to be his mom.
Happy, happy birthday, Michael Man. We love you more every day and can’t wait to see what the next year holds for you!
