My NEPHEW.S Nursery
I can’t believe that in just a few short (well, probably not for my sister) months, I’m going to be an AUNT! Aunt Katie. What a fun title to hold. Ginny took a minute to show me around my lil’ nephew’s nursery when I was in Atlanta a few weeks ago, and I thought I’d share… mostly because I’m sure you all are tired of hearing about my two yahoos. I figure hearing about a different yahoo would spice things up a bit. Plus, I love my sister’s new house, and especially their nursery. So, here we go…

LOVE the Pensacola Beach sign! I have a painted version in my house too. It makes me happy during these cold New England winters!

Oh! Some of my friends had a bet with each other (it was about the gender, but ti could be about something else) and whoever won, got to choose the baby’s going-home-from-the-hospital-outfit. The dad was an Oregon State fan, so when the mom won, she brought him home in a University of Oregon outfit. Hehe.

I love Ginny! And I especially love you two together! Makes me miss my Sissy who lives in another state. Been meaning to comment on the mc videos. Ginny, I think it was wonderful of you to be so brave to open up about your loss. I’m so sorry for it. I too have had a mc, and it seems you don’t realize how many women go through that heartache until you or someone you love experiences it. My best to you and John Michael. I love your books collection!!! I too started collecting books for my now 6 week old little girl Mackenzie!!!! One great idea my mom had for my baby shower was on the invites she put “please bring your favorite childrens book in lieu of a card”. I got sooooo many amazing books that I can read to my little girl!!!!
