Reviews,  Stuff I Use

Freshly Minted

A month or so ago, I went to a birthday party for my sweet college roommate’s daughter.  After the party, Neal’s daughter (via his even sweeter wife, Kylie, I’m sure) sent me a thank you note for attending.  AND IT WAS WRITTEN ON HER OWN STATIONARY!  I loved that!

(That’s me and Neal.  We survived four years of college together, and now we’re both trying to survive parenthood, too.)

Because I was on the look out for stationary for my own kids now, I was super excited when Minted.com reached out to let me know they were launching their 2014 Holiday Card collection and was I interested in placing a stationary order?

Well, of COURSE!

What I love about Minted is that it is sort of like Etsy for stationary and paper goods. There are all sorts of independent vendors who sell their goods through the website, which means you get all different kinds of styles. And any chance to support small businesses is always a bonus.

I have fairly simple taste, so both sets of notecards that I ordered ended up being delightfully fresh looking. For Gracie, I found this adorable strawberry card that looks just like Gracie. The simple strawberry on the top, the scripty font for her name, the white heavy cardstock. I just love them! And the “Miss” just kills me!

For Michael, I found these brightly colored building block stationary cards. I liked them because they were brightly colored, but still simple and clean. Plus, Bean loves blocks, so they suit his personality.

I am so happy with our new notecards that I am already on the hunt for our family Christmas cards on Minted. If you are in the market for holiday cards, head on over and knock yourself out. But I’m warning you. Give yourself a full glass of wine and at least an hour to browse. There is so much to see!
