Tuesdays
This afternoon, I was driving with the kids to my mom’s house. As we drove, Bean and I talked a little bit.
“Mom,” he asked. “Is it Friday?”
“Yep,” I said. “The weekend starts tomorrow!”
“I love Fridays because we get the weekend after them!” Bean declared.
“Me, too!” I agreed.
Then we rode in silence for a few minutes, listening to the radio. Suddenly, Gracie’s little voice boomed out unexpectedly.
“I like Tuesdays,” she said.
And then she went back to reading her book.
