Atlanta Craziness

Last week, my mom and I packed the kiddos up in her minivan and escaped to visit my sister in Atlanta for a few days.  I love visiting at Ginny’s house.  She’s such a thoughtful hostess, her home is comfy and cozy, and it’s always a good day when I get to snuggle my niece and nephew!

Ginny’s husband, John Michael, was traveling that week and Ginny had to work during the days, so Mom and I were wrangling four kids ourselves. It was pretty chaotic, but a lot of fun!

We did pretty good getting around, actually. Until we got to the mall and needed Ginny’s stroller. Mom and I had no idea how to get it all set up. We knew it could be made to seat two kids, but we weren’t sure where all the seats went. I laughed so hard, I almost wet my pants right there in the Macy’s parking lot!

We finally gave up and called Ginny at work. Turns out, we were missing an attachment. Once we got that situation resolved, we were ready to go!

Quick visits are short and sweet, but so much fun! I just wish I didn’t have to DRAG Nana with me. She really dreads these visits with all her BabyGrands.

Try not to look so miserable, Mom…
