I’m always curious as to what other people’s days are like.  You know – what they spend their time doing and what their schedules are.  Since I’ve had the Bean, I am particularly interested in what other babies schedules are like.  Just helps me keep on track with Beanie.  So I thought I’d share Beanie’s daily routine for all of you who are as curious about random things as I am:

(These times are just rough estimates.  We’re not working like clockwork just yet…)

5:30 AM – Wake up for a 6 oz. bottle. Then back to bed.

9:00 AM – Wake up, diaper change, get dressed, head downstairs to the living room.

9:00 – 10:00 AM – Play time!  (w/ tummy time if I can convince Beanie to behave)

10:00 AM – 4oz. bottle, diaper change, quiet time (read a book, listen to music, etc.)

10:30 AM – 1:00 PM – Nap time

1:00 PM – Wake up, 4 oz. bottle, diaper change

1:30 – 3:00 PM – Play time!  (If its not too hot we take a walk around the neighborhood)

3:00 – 5:00 PM – Afternoon nap (so Mommy can watch Ellen and Oprah!)

5:00 PM – Wake up, 4 oz. bottle, diaper change

5:30 PM – Daddy gets home from work (Mommy says YAY!!!)

5:30 – 7:00 PM – Beanie plays with Chris while I cook dinner

7:00 – 8:00 PM – Beanie usually falls asleep for one last little cat nap while Mom and Dad eat dinner

8:00 PM – Bath time, diaper change, get in jammies

8:30 PM – 6 oz. bottle, rocking with Mom

9:00 PM – Bedtime

Its a little different every day, but that’s the general outline of our days.  Oh, man.  I’m gonna miss that when I go back to work next week.  Have I mentioned that yet?  That I don’t want to go back to work?  Did I tell you that?

DON’T MAKE ME GO!!!

“Whoa there, Beanie.”

“What?” he says.

“What happened to your hair, buddy?” I ask.

“Do you like it?  Dad and me did it,” says Beanie.

“Uhhh….”

“Dad thinks it looks great,” says Beanie.

“He does, huh?”

“Yeah, he does.”

“Well, its definitely something new.  Do you think you’ll do your hair like this every day, Beanie?”

“Nah,” he says.  “Dad says I might scare the chicks away.”

“Yeah,” I said.  “That’s probably true.”

“But I liked hanging out with Dad,” said Beanie.  “Maybe next time we could just watch TV though and leave the hair to you.”

“Yeah,” I said.  “Good idea.”
