Summer Days. Atlanta Ways.

Last week, my mom and I strapped the kiddos in the van and drove to Atlanta to spend the weekend with my sister’s family.  Chris was supposed to fly up to meet us on Saturday morning, but after arriving to the airport at 5:00 in the morning, he was told he missed the check-in time for his flight – by 5 minutes.  We were all SO disappointed be couldn’t be with us.  Just imagine him standing next to us in all these pictures.  🙂 We got into town on Friday…

Atlanta Craziness

Last week, my mom and I packed the kiddos up in her minivan and escaped to visit my sister in Atlanta for a few days.  I love visiting at Ginny’s house.  She’s such a thoughtful hostess, her home is comfy and cozy, and it’s always a good day when I get to snuggle my niece and nephew! We drove up on Friday after a morning doctors appointment for Gracie (her ears were fine, by the way… she was just cutting four…

This past weekend we went to Atlanta to have Christmas with my side of the family at my sister’s house. My sister and John Michael have the cutest little condo in downtown Atlanta. It is just what you would picture for a successful, young couple to have. And Ginny has decorated it perfectly. When we got there, it was beautiful in its Christmas glory, with their huge Christmas tree front and center. Twenty minutes into our visit and we had destroyed their house. I blame my mom and dad. They…
