Last week, I let the kids help me meal plan for the week. They each got to pick a dinner we would have one night, and then on the night we had their dinner, they got to cook it. It was a blast! Bean picked BBQ chicken and “macaroni and peas,” which is something he used to have in preschool. Basically, you mix peas and macaroni and cheese together. I don’t know about you guys, but my kids are SNACK HAPPY these days!  Goodness!  That’s all they ever want!  Snack, snack, snack!  If someone asks me for a snack one more time, I might explode! (And, yes, all of those exclamation points were necessary in that paragraph.) At the beginning of the summer, I could tell snacks were going to be an issue. Preschooler Dinners Continue

First, can I just pause to freak out for a minute?  When I checked my email this week, I thought BabyCenter had sent me the wrong weekly updates.  I get emails from them every week with developmental milestones and information about the kids based on their ages.  Normally, I don’t even read these anymore.  But these two caught my attention because instead of Gracie’s, “Your Baby This Week” email, it said, “Your TODDLER This Week.”  And instead of Bean’s, “Your Toddler This Week,” it said, “Your PRESCHOOLER This Week.” Uh……
