Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace
Over the past few months I have been getting more and more questions from readers. Usually, people ask questions in the comments section and those are hard for me to answer because there’s no where really to reply. A lot of people email questions to me and that’s good, but I’m really slow to respond usually. So, I’ve decided to open the flood gates.
As a Fun Friday activity, today I’m opening my blog up to questions. Ask anything you want. It can be about something I’ve previously blogged about that you wanted more info or details from. It can be about something I’ve never mentioned and you’re curious about. It can be about my blog itself (just don’t get too technical cause I don’t speak the geek so well…). It can be about the Bean. It can be about my marriage. You can even ask Chris questions, if you prefer, and he’ll do a separate post answering those. I can’t promise we’ll answer every question, but we’ll do our best until we get bored or get carpel tunnel. Whichever comes first.
You can post questions to the comments section of this post or, if you’re more comfortable, you can email them to me at katie.marriageconfessions@gmail.com. Answers will be posted on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Hey Katie!
I have a question… How did you and Chris know that you were ready for a baby? I’m almost 26 and have been married almost 3 years. We live in Germany, and travel like crazy. I just have the baby fever… Just wondering how you decided to expand your family?!
Katy
My question is how are the dogs dealing with Bean? I am convinced that our pets are going to be crazy jealous and plot all sorts of horrendous things.
Jordan
have you used that gym membership at all?

Remember those 4 little words so that you can stay the favorite parent of the bean. go ask your dad. don’t let chris use the counterpart of go ask your mother, or it will backfire!

What do you like/dislike about living in Connecticut? What did you like/dislike about living Florida? Did you find the relocation from South to North difficult?
I definitely found the move from North to South to be difficult. There are things I like about living in FL, but I definitely miss NY/New England.

What will your days be like when you have to go back to work? How many kids do you & Chris want…has this number changed since you had the bean?
Naomi
I have a question for Chris actually, how has being a new father altered your relationship with Katie? Now with there being a constant {adorable} third-wheel around, who needs both of your attention so much, has it changed your view of Katie {since she is now a mom} and being a father has it changed how you view your marriage and how to work at making it fabulous with Katie?

How do you get Bean’s hair to look so bedhead perfect? I know guys who work for hours to get their hair to look like his 🙂

I have some questions!
1. How did you come to make the step to write a blog about such a touchy subject? You pretty much give us all the inside details about love, marriage, etcetera. I couldn’t think of writing about the fights and tender moments I have with my love, it’s too personal. Yet you do it! HOW!
2. How’s your bond with Beanie now? Is it a bit better?
3. How are your c-section stitches and wounds are coming along?
4. I never had a child so I wouldn’t know, but I heard that if you don’t nurture your child, your breasts get all touchy and stuff. What are your experiences? You don’t have to answer if this is too personal, haha, but I was wondering! And besides, you gave us the oppertunity! So I blame you if it is too personal :p
Wiske
Oh! And another, final question: are you considering Bean #2? I suggest the nickname Tadpole.
Lexi
This may be too personal…but I am curious as to how long it took you to actually get pregnant after deciding you two were really trying.

Hey hey!
My question is – do you have any regrets about getting married so young? do you wish you had dated more? obviously you’re happy with your decision, and that’s been the best path for you guys (and little Beanie of course!) but does any, smaller part of you wish you’d had more time out in the world before settling down?
Thanks a bunch, and keep up the hilariously good work 🙂
Amy
We recently found out that we are going to have a baby sometime next February, and my question is what has been the most unexpected thing about motherhood for you…good or bad, or both 🙂
Maggie
Hi! I have loved reading your blog ever since I found it through a mutual real-life-friend’s website. My question is taboo, I know, but I am dying to know if your blog, now that it is on a domain you pay for, is as lucrative as you thought it would be with the ads? And how much did the press with the Man Cave help readership?
Keep up the great work!

Are you going to try the sling again? I have read great reviews about the Maya Sing. I just bought a Maya Sling at a garage sale for $10; a terrific deal! I bought it too use for my nephews (4.5 months old). I also read great things about the BabyBjorn.

I’m expecting my first little boy in October. What item or items have been a lifesaver since Bean was born?
Christina
Here’s a question that you don’t really have to answer…do you know how totally cute your baby is?!
Jeska
I know this is a day late, I’m sorry!
What’s your favorite thing about being married, not necessarily to Chris, but in general?
