That post (as wordless as it was) made me tear up! Makes me want to run upstairs and wake up Henry. {Okay, rethinking that idea…} 😉 We’ll be dancing tonight for sure…
You WILL always remember that. When my firstborn son was 3 he ran into the kitchen one day and said “I’m a prince! Want me to marry ya?” Who would turn that down? Certainly not ME…..he took both my hands and we turned around in a circle and then he pronounced us “married”. I will never forget that!
hey, i danced with my wee Charlie today!
but i must admit… by the blur of those pictures, it dont look like no SLOW dancin’!
side note: sometimes when i see pictures of you and the bean on your blog, i think to myself… “wow, she must have some kind of life where people follow her around and take her picture.” and then i realize… no, she has a husband that she orders to take photos of important and ever so grand events. and it makes me want to get off my arse and start bossin’ my husband around… cuz these pictures aint takin’ themselves, yo!
LOVE your photos. He is such a beautiful baby & I loved the hairdos in his bath photos. I guess U have figured out what the pee pee tee pees are for…..?

You’re right…I will never forget dancing with my first to U2’s latest album at the time; sometimes it was what got me through a day. Being a first-time mom was hard for me. (I didn’t have a blog!) It’s so awesome that you are capturing all of this.
My mom has this quote hanging up in her kitchen that says “You’re never too old to dance in the kitchen or kiss for no reason”. Your post reminded me of that, very cute!

Yes it is those sweet tender moments that keep us mommies sane and helps us not kill these kids when they become teenagers!

And they will always be your favorite moments. The ones you smile about at the most random times.
