Not Much At All

In the hustle of going back to work on Monday and my birthday yesterday (32!), I haven’t gotten around to my Thanksgiving recap.  And I know how much people look forward to seeing pictures of strangers and their family members, so I feel kind of bad about that.

s’Not.

We had a really great Thanksgiving week.  Chris’s family came to stay with us, and it was just lovely to spend some time with them.  We really didn’t do very much at all.

Well, except cook.

And eat.

And play out in the backyard.

And fight with firewood swords (not a mom-approved activity, by the way…)

And dress Granddaddy up like a reindeer.

And mope around because Gracie was sick on Thanksgiving Day.

And shop until our bank accounts cried, “UNCLE!” (No pictures of this, though, because my arms were too full of shopping bags!)

But other than that stuff, we really didn’t do anything last week.

And that’s just the kind of holiday I like.
