Gracie Sings the Blessing
By popular demand, here is the cutest video in the world of Gracie saying the blessing at the dinner table.
For those who are interested, here is a transcript of the blessing. I like it because it’s a song, so it’s easy for the kids to learn. Plus, it is in a repeat pattern, which made it easy to teach them because I would sing a line and then they would sing a line. Now, we all sing the whole thing together.
God our father,
God our father,
Once again,
Once again,
May we ask your blessing
May we ask your blessing
Amen.
Amen.

I love how she looks at Bean like, “do you mind?!”. Poor beaner with that cough!

I’m so glad you posted this! When I saw the pic on Insta, I knew I had to see more 😉 Also, I have never thought of singing the blessing! How cute!

Love this! And Gracie is so cute singing it…funny how Bean jumped ahead and sang louder than everyone else. This is so what my 3.5 year old would do to his younger sister!

Gracie I am so proud of you. You are such a big girl. Love you, sweetie.

Love it! Our Ava is exactly the same age as Gracie (off by a few hours!) We have this blessing in our rotation but start it “Thank you father”, so when I tell them to fold their hands to pray she says “How ’bout Thank you Father?”
Also, her big brother (a month younger than Bean) also tries to rush it!

That might just be one of the cutest things I’ve even seen. I love that she shut her eyes and Bean in the background cracked me up. 🙂
