The Moving Helper
Moving has been pretty easy on Bean. He is transitioning really wonderfully. He doesn’t seem nervous or scared or anything. He’s been his normal, happy, loud self.
Except for this…
He has started hiding underneath things. Maybe its to stay out of our way? We’re not sure. But every now and then, he’ll just scoot himself up under something and play for a while by himself. Or with Big Molly.
Its actually kind of convenient. With us coming and going carrying boxes and things, its nice to know that he’s out of the way. Of course, there’s the flip side. In case you didn’t already know, Bean Man is small. Tiny. ‘ittle bity. This can make him hard to find sometimes. He sneaks off somewhere and he’s so small that you really have to look to find him.
Usually, you just have to look until you find him and then pull him out when he gets stuck. Because he always gets stuck. And just when you think you’ve gotten him un-stuck for the last time…
It happens again.
(sigh)
Poor Bean.

Hee! He looks like a turtle. In the cutest possible way of course.

Dude, until this post I had completely forgotten one of the best parts of childhood – being small enough to easily crawl underneath things. Now those were the days.
Cause it’s just not fun under the table if you’re lifting it up with your back.

Oh my god, Bean’s hair in that last picture is priceless! I had a good long laugh at that combined with the fact that he was really wedged in there under that table. Too cute!

That last picture is awesome! You know you’re a blogger when…you take a picture of your kid before you rescue them. hahaha
Very cute.

too cute, can’t believe bean is getting so mobile! next thing you know he’ll be blowing out 1st birthday candles.
it amazes me what kids get stuck in and makes me wonder what made them do it in the first place! my little boy stuck his head between the rungs of a chair and got his head stuck. he was screaming but my husband and were trying not to laugh while we pulled him out. but they never learn.

Ahh yes…I remember the “I’m stuck squeals”. I don’t get them as much anymore but it used to be a common occurance at my house!

Miss M!
I totally used to do that when I was a kid. My mom said that if I ever went missing, that all she had to do was look under all the tables. I don’t think I stopped doing it until I was eight or nine!
You can find these tents that you drape over tables for them to play in on Etsy. They’re really cute. Just an idea for when his birthday comes up!
