My Sister’s Wedding Extraveganza
This past week we celebrated my sister, Ginny, who finally married her best friend, John Michael. They were married on Saturday, April 24, but the wedding activities kicked off on Friday when my mom, grandmother, and sister threw a brunch for all of Ginny’s bridesmaids as a way to say thank you. The brunch took place at the beach house my parents rented for the week and it was so much fun. I got to see lots of Ginny’s closest friends that I hadn’t seen in a while and Ginny was the perfect hostess and bride-to-be. At the brunch, she toasted each individual bridesmaid and told a little bit about her friendship with that person and what that friend had brought to Ginny’s life. It was such a sweet way to get to know things about the girls that I hadn’t known before.
This week, I’ll be posting several posts of pictures from Ginny’s wedding. This first batch is from the bridesmaids brunch.
Let’s start with the food that was served. That’s always my favorite place to start…
Fruit and yogurt parfaits
Cheese biscuits
Quiche, biscuits, and bacon wrapped green beans
Three flavors of pound cake with sherbet for dessert
Lemonade
Table for the mimosas
And then there was everything else…
The cute little beach house
Bows on the front porch that match the wedding colors
The lovely bride checking the mirror one more time before guests arrive. (Don’t you love her dress?!?!)
My mom adding mint leaves to the parfaits
Finally everyone arrives!
Chatting with the bridesmaids
My Grandma and Bean Man
Ginny toasted each individual bridesmaid. It was really sweet.

Katie I think you should do more sections on your clothes, you seem to be really in tune with what colors work best for your complexion and hair. I’m intrigued… do tell. 😉
