Sunday Funday
This weekend we got out and about. Thank goodness. I was getting cabin fever just sitting around the house, so it was nice to be going and doing things. Saturday we ran boring errands, like grocery shopping and finally getting to the Post Office. But yesterday was a lot of fun. After church, we headed to my parent’s house to spend the afternoon.
It was Gracie’s first time at their house and my parents were so happy to have another baby there.
Gracie was pretty happy to be there, too.
My parents pulled down all the baby gear from when Bean was little. It was so fun to see it all back out again. Bean was excited to share it all with Gracie, too.
Later in the afternoon, my mom stayed with Gracie (of course, we really had to twist her arm)…
…while the rest of us headed up to the driving range to hit some golf balls.
Bean even has his own small golf clubs that he brought up there to play with while we hit.
We set up a little place for him that was a safe distance away from the swinging clubs at the driving range and he hung out there with Granddad.
A little later, we headed over to the putting greens.
Bean loves the putting green. I think it’s cause the flags are his size.
But I think what he really liked was spending time with his Dad and Granddad.
The day was perfect, except for one minor incident where Bean hit himself in the head with his club during one particularly zealous swing… Don’t worry, Buddy. You’re not the first man to cry on the golf course.
All in all, it was a great Sunday!

Bean’s got heart…that’s why he’s crying. The game is in his blood 🙂

Awww… poor Bean!
I’m glad you had such a great time with your family, Katie!
Did you miss little Gracie while you were playing golf with the boys?

Bean is going to love having these special days documented when he gets older! On another not, your father has some seriously white feet!

This is our life next summer, I’m sure of it. I love the photo with your three boys all putting at once (what a great Father’s Day framed photo that would be!).

Oh my gosh, Bean is the cutest little golfer ever! And much better dressed than half the players at the Masters this year 😉

Are your folks in the Villages? My folks are there. I love that freaking place.

Is it wrong that I laughed at that picture of Michael crying?

Those are just the sweetest pictures! I bet that days like this make the move back to Florida so worth it, just being able to hang out with the family and do things together like that. Bean & Gracie will have some really special memories of their grandparents when they’re older.

Another great post Katie. 🙂

That last picture of Bean is too precious. I know no one likes to hit themselves with a golf club, but he is just so cute.

I went to the driving range over the weekend, too! I’m so sore today… But it was worth it for a fun day out with my husband. I’m sure Bean would agree that sometimes the pain is worth it 🙂

Y’all have the cutest babies!

Poor bubba! Look at that little face! And you’re right, he’s not the first man to cry out there! 😉
