Siblings
Two seconds after this picture was taken, Gracie pulled Bean’s hair. So, Bean cried and pushed Gracie. So, Gracie cried and Bean got a time out for pushing his sister. So, Bean cried harder because it wasn’t fair that Gracie didn’t get a time out, too. So, I pretended to put Gracie in time out for pulling Bean’s hair by sitting her in a corner while she happily tried to catch Lucy who was trying to lick sweet potatoes off of Gracie’s face.
I can’t wait until they’re in middle school…

Yup. It should be interesting then. But just remember it gets so much better after the middle school/hs years. My brother and I were so close once we got to college (we are 2 yrs apart). I was sad to graduate and leave him behind! My mom never thought we would get along during those tween years!

Too funny that you got a “before” shot. I definitely remember the days of thinking everything should be fair with my sibling.

Yep…it’ll get worse! I used to pick on my older brother ALL the time. Not that he would admit it now…but I did 🙂

uh…minus the crying and timeouts this still happens between me and my brother… I’m 25, he’s 28… BUT…we are very close. Once I was in high school everything got so. much. better. WOO for siblings and especially older brothers

Just wait until they discover the “I’m not touching you” game. My almost-25-year-old brother still does that to me. Oh the joys of being the younger sister.

Oh to be the older sibling….At least they’re not both girls. That might stop some of the clothes arguments when they’re older. THOSE get really nasty.

Oh, this is too funny…just yesterday I made my kids promise to each have more than 1 child themselves, just so that they will know the JOY of dealing with their constant bickering…and maybe to understand why mommy is *a little* Crazy!!

Girl do I feel ya! This is a constant battle in our house. We will get through it though, at least I sure hope so anyway!

I’m with Beanie on this one!!!!

The fake time out is a good trick – if you can keep from giggling while you do it.

I can’t wait to have a second one so I could watch them interact 🙂 This is just about the cutest thing in life.

It is a cute picture, even if it did end in all sorts of crying & sadness. I’m really afraid of how hard it is going to be to handle two so close in age!
