Mom! Look What I Found!
“Mom!” shrieked Bean. “Look what I found!”
“Somebody hid my old bottles in this trash bag full of clothes!”
“Well, Bean Bean,” I said. “I did that.”
“What?!?!? Why?!?!?”
“Because you are a big boy now, Beanie. And so we’re going to give some of your old bottles to a women and children’s shelter. Don’t you think that would be a nice thing to do?”
“No. Absolutely not. These are mine and I have missed them.”
“I know you have missed them, but you are a big boy now. You use a sippy cup and so you don’t need these bottles anymore. But there are other babies out there who really need a bottle.”
“Hmm…” said Bean.
“So, don’t you think it would be nice if we could share your old bottles with those babies?”
“Well…(sigh)…I guess so,” said Bean.
“Oh, that’s so nice of you, Bean Bean!” I said.
“Yeah. I like my sippy cup better anyways.”
“But I’m keeping one of these just in case my sippy cup breaks…” Bean whispered to himself.

Nate's Mom
I can’t believe how he’s just walking around! It’s so amazing how kids go from wee blobs to walking, talking giants! I give Nate a month before he decides to walk. He’s a good cruizer now and he’s stood on his own (for 10 seconds) a few times (accidentally). It’s only a matter of time….

As I read this my 3 year old daughter is having a meltdown… at 8:20am… but it still made me chuckle at the end:o)

I used these bottles with both of my girls. They are the best and easiest to clean up. My baby is still using these bottles. She is lazy and doesn’t want to learn to hold her own bottle so she thinks she needs to hold it from the end and play with the bottle liner. Maybe one day she will learn how to actually hold the bottle rather than just play with it. 🙂

I maintain that Bean is the cutest child in the history of the universe. And witty, too. 🙂 I love these Bean and Mom stories!

What’s up with babies and digging through trash? E does the same thing too!
I love these conversations with Bean. It’s just too cute 🙂 I’d say that I wouldn’t mind having E date someone as cute as he is but then again, I don’t want to see him with broken legs (long story, trust me) I’ll just have to settle with watching him grow up and spread his cuteness to other people in his life 🙂

I am loving the narrative…although I am dying to know what Bean would really say once he starts talking fluently.

It is sure somethin’ how Bean can just “speak” to you…isn’t it? It’s almost like he’s being helped with his side of the conversation…it’s so weird…
Megan
This would be why when I see a video of Bean I expect him to talk like a little kid!! Hilarious…love it!!
