I love this post. And I love pregnant Katie! ๐
Renee
I love this! I am also loving chocolate milk these days. Or I was until I gave up chocolate for lent.
Sara @ embrylovescookies
Arrrgh! I totally remember people asking me if I was having twins! Only I was about 6 months along when it started happening!!
Lindsey
I love the sweet look on Bean’s face in the last picture!!!
Meggan
I wished I was pregnant with twins this last time…would have given a good excuse to my hugeness! I thought for sure there was another one hiding behind the unknown gender baby we were having:) Soon enough….and then, 3 months down the road you will see preggo people and wish you were preggo again:) Or at least that happens to me:)
Christy
I’d imagine the pain you’re in now will pale in comparison to the absolute joy you’ll feel once you have Grace around. But I’ve never been pregnant before, and you’re in pain RIGHT NOW…so I’m going to go shut my mouth now and go daydream about my future perfect pregnancy. You can laugh at me later.
Laura
Hee hee, too funny. You are being so patient and not griping nearly as much as I would be.
You’re making me want a Swiss Cake roll. Drool!
Audrey
This is hilarious. Hilarious. (We can’t wait to meet Gracie too!!!)
Andrea
I love your site!! Your posts are always hilarious and I feel like I know you because you’re just so REAL and honest. I hope, for your sake, that Gracie makes her appearance soon!! ๐
Holli
I was a chocolate milk reservoir while I was pregnant. I’m sure I sounded just like Sloth from The Goonies when asked if I wanted any..only, instead of it being “baby ruuuth?!” it was “chocolate miiiilk?!”
She’ll be “out” before you know it. Just breathe, relax and know she’s going to be beautiful ๐
Ashley @ A Recipe for Sanity
Ahahaaa….had to laugh. I especially loved “evict my fetus” and “my doctor, the satanist”.
Lee Ann
Hang in there, Katie, hang in there!
Courtney
Been lurking for a couple of months now, but I decided I had to comment on this post. LOVED it! Made me smile and brought back some memories for me: I delivered my first (a boy, Riley) just over 6 months ago. Hang in there! Gracie WILL be here soon. ๐
Courtney
Oh, and we called Riley “Bean” while he was in utero, and that has morphed into “Riley-bean” now. My dad even painted a picture of a bean and gave it to us in the hospital after I had Riley. When I found your site I couldn’t believe you had the same name for your son! Too cute.
Erin
Ah, the joys of motherhood….!
Erin
Chocolate milk was a must have when I was pregnant, too!
Lindsay (Young Married Mom)
Ahh, I loved balancing things on my belly too. . . until the Peanut kicked them off. And I totally understand the falling over when putting on pants thing. Even the simplest tasks get way more complicated when you’re pregnant!
Mindee@ourfrontdoor
And this is why I have three children when I originally wanted four.
Rebecca
Ahhhhhh! Great list Katie!!! Thanks for making me smile today =)
Lori @I Can Grow people
I know it is tough, but hang in there. You are almost there!
Diana @ A Little Bit of Life
My heartburn went away as soon as Jellybean came out. I loved being able to give my dad all my Tums and Zantac. Now Jellybean has reflux so it must have been him giving me his heartburn the whole time!
Rachel
Now I want to go get some Swiss Cake rolls. Yum and I’m not pregnant. Just a little bit longer and you will be wondering which shade of pink to put on your little baby girl. That is my current problem.
Jen at Cabin Fever
I love reading your late pregnancy posts… I am a few months behind you in my first pregnancy and while some of the things you talk about scare me (the chronic back pain causing you to want to die) most of it makes me laugh. And hungry. I don’t have any swiss rolls in this house and am cursing you for it. …off to the store ๐ Cabin Fever in Vermont
Tressa
For some reason this post made me think about the very first post I read on your blog. You were near the end of your pregnancy with Bean, you were eating McDonald’s in a motel room somewhere. Swollen and tired. Grace will be here soon. Hang on Katie! Have a good weekend
nycldenise
You are such an inspiration, even on your worst days.
Kat @ Living Like the Kings
LOL you are too funny. I like your lists. Especially the things you like to do ๐
megan
Oh, girl, I am so there with you! I feel like I run a marathon every day, I’m so sore! And now I sleep 4 hours in bed and then 2 hours on the couch and that’s all I can manage, I’m so uncomfortable. Hang in there, she’ll be here before you know it!
Sarah
๐ i wish you the best with the upcoming C. ๐ thank you for sharing the good and bad about pregnancy. i hope to experience it one day and am happy to hear women tell the “true” story and not just how “special and lovely” it is. ๐
Megan @ Red Dirt and Crazy
YEAH!!!! You’ve had the baby!!! ๐
This post was HILARIOUS!! I love the “My doctor, the satanist” part!! Hearing you talk through this pregnancy is like DEJA VU for me!!
