Etsy Day: Eisley Rae
** UPDATE: The winner of the Eisley Rae giveaway is #38 – Teresa! Congratulations, Teresa! Email me at katie@marriageconfessions.com to claim your prize! Thanks to everyone for entering! **
Oh, Lord, ya’ll. I’m losing my mind. Among other things.
About two months BEFORE GRACIE WAS BORN, I received a lovely email about this adorable Etsy shop, Eisley Rae. The owner, Alyson, wanted to send Bean a big brother t-shirt. Awesome, right? Yes. So, Alyson sends over the most adorable custom made big brother tee for Bean.
It was so dang cute that I immediately decided I wanted to do a review of Alyson’s shop for Etsy Day, but every time he had it on, I’d forget to take a picture. Then, tragedy. I couldn’t find the shirt. Anywhere. I looked in every closet we had, every laundry hamper, every nook and cranny in our house. Nada. What in the world had happened to our cute shirt? Then I started noticing other small items of clothing here and there were missing and soon it became clear that I had misplaced an entire laundry basket of clothing somewhere.
Please tell me I am not the only one that this has happened to because I feel like one of those ninnies who loses their car in parking lots all the time.
Anyway, long story short, I found the laundry basket last week in our garage. (Don’t ask – I have no idea how laundry ended up in our garage…) Immediately, I rescued Bean’s shirt, took a picture, and here I am. Telling you about Alyson’s adorable shop.
I think I like Alyson’s shop because it sells exactly the kind of things that I would sell if I were the tiniest bit crafty. But I’m not. So I must rely on people like Alyson to make these things for me. Look at this little bird shirt. I’d wear this in my size and I love children’s clothing like that! She also makes the leggings, too!
She’s got this sweet little bubble skirt in the same pattern, which I LOVE. I’m into birds right now. I’m hoping my sister does her baby nursery in them so that I have an excuse to buy owls things like this.
And look at this adorable little Jackie O. jacket. So chic. So classic. So cute on a little girl!!! Or me!!!
Alyson has such cute children’s clothing in her shop. I can’t wait for Gracie to get big enough to wear some of them! Luckily for you, Alyson isn’t going to make you wait. Today she is giving away what she calls a Mr. Man shirt to a lucky reader. This is a custom order, so it isn’t pictured in her shop, but it is a tee shirt with a hip, fabric tie sewn on the front. Dress up or dress down, dude. Your little on has a tie for the occasion!
To enter to win the Mr. Man tee, leave a comment below telling me what your favorite piece of clothing is for you or your kids. Maybe you have a favorite sundress that makes you look long and lean or maybe your daughter has the most adorable tunic that she wears over leggings. What piece of clothing just makes your day?
The giveaway will be open until 8:00 PM EST on Friday, May 13, and an winner will be announced this weekend.
Thanks to Alyson of Eisley Rae for sponsoring such a fun giveaway and for being patient with me while I have slowly lost my mind…and my laundry!

My favorite piece of clothing is actually a pair of shoes: gold (at least they started out that way – now they’re really more tan), slip-on, comfortable, suitable for work or for play. Great purchase. And, for my son, I just loved an outfit of his that was a monkey-print hoodie with a pair of sweat pants with a monkey on the butt. Too cute!
Anne Cooper
My favorite piece of clothing has to be my self-titled “comfy pants”. No matter how bad the day may have been, I come home, put those on, and the world is right again!

My favorite item of clothing right now is my maternity yoga pants! Dress up, dress down…plus, they’re one of the only things that still fit! I just found out that our baby due in a month is BOY and I would LOVE a Mr. Man t-shirt. 🙂

My *current* favorite clothing item is a blue dress with flowy cap sleeves. It has black flowers under the bust followed but small pleats (allowing some room to become a maternity dress I hope!) . It is extremely comfortable and I feel great in it!

I’m currently loving my new purple tea dress, with it’s cute frills and swishy skirt. Loving the summer!

My favorite piece of clothing is whichever cardigan I last wore–I have them in every shade of neutral, which I know is oh-so daring. I just ordered Jacob’s first pair of shoes, which should arrive tomorrow–Robeez “Executive Surfer” crib shoes. They’re reversible: one side looks like loafers, the other like canvas slip-ons. TOO CUTE.

I would have to say that my favorite piece of clothing for my daughter is the Easter print dress that my mom made for her. She made all the grandbabies the same dress and the boys little vests out of the same fabric so that she could have pictures with them. The dress is so cute.

Sullivan has a little motorcycle jacket that reminds me of James Dean. I put him in some jeans and a white onesie with what’s left of his hair slicked back. So flipping cute

Well…I’m full term pregnant, I hate all my clothes and how I look in them right now. So for my son I love him in his baby blue Bahama style shirt and white shorts. He’s adorable, but then again he’s adorable just running around in his cammo underwear too.
K

Sundresses make my day. Putting them on means beautiful weather, playing in the sun, and feeling comfortable and free. I can’t wait to have a little girl to dress up in sundresses!

I really don’t have any favorite clothes for myself right now. I am 6 months postpartum and still not feeling like myself physically. But, I love dressing my little guy each day. My favorites are his novelty tees or onsies that say “Chicks Dig Me” , “Hello Ladies”, “I Burp Like Daddy” or his Pig Peg onesie. So cute!
Betty
I dont’ know what they’re called, maybe rompers, but it’s like a onsie/shorts/polo from Carters and I LOVE it on Levi. So much.

I have a few favorite outfits for my kids, I mean, how can you not love a little girl toddling around in a sundress!? But I would have to say the thing that makes me smile most are my sons little boxer-briefs I got from H&M. They fit him perfectly and his little butt is just the cutest in them!
Ashley @ A Recipe for Sanity
At the moment, it’s a black halter dress that people seem to think I look great in! I may wear it as my uniform.
Also, don’t feel bad about losing the clothes. I refer to that as “laundry heaven”, the happy place where your clothes go when they’ve had enough of you misplacing them. Sadly, I have never had anything come back from laundry heaven.
Katy
My favorite thing to see my kids wear are pjs…get them out of the bath and slip them into some comfy, cute pjs…it does not get any better than that!!
Heidi M
I love when my son wears anything music related, especially with guitars.
Rika
hmmm…My favorite are my daughter’s shoes. They have such cute shoes for little girls and I live vicariously through her. She ends up with many more pairs than she needs and her poor brother ends up with just sneakers and dress shoes.
Kristen S.
I have a really cute tube top dress from Victoria’s Secret that I bought especially for a trip that we took to Hawaii.
Amy S
My favorite clothing article doesn’t fit any more, but it still hangs on his bed post. My middle child has a denim baseball cap (from when he was aroung 18 months old) that says “Here Comes Trouble” on the front. I love it. Just saw it this morning and it made me smile!
jamie
I have a purpe swirly maxi dress that makes me look so tall and skinny that id wear it everyday if i could!!
Amy L Butler
I love birds too! I especially LOVE owls. My friends/family/co-workers think I’m nuts. But I think they are soo cute. :0)
Andrea
My favorite is my son’s shirt that says “Uncle Robert is My Favorite.” When I was pregnant I had bought several I love Grandma and Grandpa shirts, and my brother wanted to know where the Uncle stuff was. When I told him they didn’t make Uncle clothes, he bought a little onesie and had it embroidered. The idea of my little brother shopping for onesies with his college roommate makes me laugh every time I see the shirt.
