Life Happens
Oh, imaginary friends! How I have missed you this past week! I did not intend to take a break from blogging, but sometimes life just happens. And, boy, was it happening last week! I have so many things to share about this week! We had weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and birthday parties. Get ready for lots of pictures this week on the blog! Let’s start in chronological order with my cousin’s wedding in Atlanta.
Are you ready?
Are you sure? There are lots of pictures. We might be a while.
You better go to the bathroom first. I’ll wait…
You good now?
Okay, here we go.
Last weekend, we went to Atlanta for my cousin, Jake’s, wedding. Jake graduated the weekend before from West Point, so he was having a pretty great week. And he looked so handsome in his uniform!
We had so much fun celebrating Liz and Jake that weekend. They had their rehearsal dinner at the Carriage House in Atlanta, a classic, Southern venue, where they served fried chicken, green beans, macaroni and cheese, and apple cobbler for dessert. It was fantastic!
This is one of my new favorite pictures, by the way. That’s my mom on the end, then Chris, then me, my cousin, Abby, next (she is the sister of the groom and seriously is one of the happiest newlyweds I have ever met in my life!), her husband, Joey, my sister, Ginny, and her husband, John Michael.
The kids all had a great time at the rehearsal dinner, too. They looked to cute and clean, and within about ten minutes, they were all wrestling on the ground.
Well played, small people.
(Gracie won. Naturally.)
Doesn’t my mom look pretty???
And I love these two pictures of her with her mom and brother (the father of the groom). They show so much of their personalities here. Always joking around with each other, always laughing.
The wedding and reception was held at the Biltmore Estate in downtown Atlanta. It was one of the prettiest weddings I’ve ever attended.
(Gracie insisted on redoing her headband by “hersef” all night long. I gave up trying to fix it!)
Of course, my camera would finally give up and die the week that there was so much fun stuff happening, so a special high five goes out to my mom for letting me pilfer all her pictures from this week! Stay tuned tomorrow for pictures from Bean’s preschool graduation…

I like how you and your sister wore similar dressed to the rehearsal dinner and your necklace matched hers! And can I just say Bean is stealing the show with his cuteness? Maybe i just love his little ties! Everyone looks SO good 🙂
