Weekend Report
(First of all, I can’t even explain all the updates and technical issues I went through to get these damn pictures on my blog tonight. It has taken me two days of wrestling with my photo application and just when I was about to give up and throw my computer through the window, it started uploading pictures from my camera correctly again. It must have sensed death. Anyway, appreciate these pictures.)
You can tell it’s getting close to spring here. The weather is nice, the windows are open, and baseball season has started! This past weekend was our Little League’s Opening Ceremonies and Bean’s first game. He was the cutest little baseball player I ever did see.
Because he the youngest in his league, he is also the smallest on his team. He holds his own, but he just looks so SMALL! I think it’s even more noticeable now that he is in an older league. He’s playing with bigger kids and so he looks proportionately smaller. I just want to eat him up, I love him so!
And his coach is pretty cute, too.
No baseball season opener is complete without the entire family and friends cheering section for Bean. My mom was there, so was Chris’s sister and her boyfriend, and we had three other friends of ours show up with their families. I love our village!
I don’t think anyone was more excited for baseball season to start than Gracie, though. She absolutely loves running around the baseball fields during Bean’s games. She has her own little network of “baseball sisters” that she hangs out with and it is such a hoot to see her prancing around the fields like she owns the joint.
So, we are back at it once again. Another team. Another season.
PLAY BALL!

Bean looks so big! Also, I love this post because it reminds me of the post you wrote when you first told us you were moving to FL and how you couldn’t wait for Bean to have his family cheering for him on the sidelines at his games. What a great village you have!
