“Lucy! Come look at this!” yelled Big Molly.
“What is it?” said Lucy.
“They just left that short guy laying here!”
“Oh my gosh!” said Lucy. “Do you think they forgot about him?”
“I dunno…” said Big Molly. “They don’t usually just forget him like this.”
“Well, I’m gonna lick him,” said Big Molly.
“YOU CAN’T LICK HIM!” gasped Lucy. “We’re not allowed to lick him!”
“I don’t care,” said Big Molly. “I”m gonna lick him right here on his hand!”
“I don’t think you should, Molly. What if your tongue sticks to him? Babies do strange things sometimes.”
“Don’t care. I’m gonna do it.”
“Well,” said Lucy. “What’s he taste like?”
“Hmm…” said Big Molly. “He kinda tastes like bananas.”
“That’s weird,” said Lucy.
“Yeah,” said Big Molly.
“I guess we should sit with him until Mom and Dad get back,” said Big Molly.
“No way, Dude,” said Lucy. “You lick it, you buy it.”
“Shoot.”

Sounds like the two pups are still trusting of the Bean! Nate has taken to grabbing in the past two weeks – he grabs anything that gets in the range of his peanut hands! First up? His brother, Jonathan Dangerous. JohnJohn the cat – not so thrilled….

I love the pics of the Bean and the dogs! I can’t wait to see our dogs intereacting with our children someday. Dogs are such a special part of the family. Great companions for children.
