This video is from last week when we dropped Bean’s crib down to a lower setting because he was learning how to stand up in there. You can read about that HERE. But the video was too cute to not share…
He is so cute, especially that great baby belly of his- I love it!
One thing I do notice though is he is standing in a way that looks like he learned it from the jumper, not in a normal and natural way. Do you see how his feet (especially the right leg) is turned out each time he stands, and how he keeps his knees bent and his thigh-to-belly angle is less than 180-degrees? I know he is just learning to stand, but just because the jumper helps him learn these things faster does not mean he is learning the right way to distribute his balance. If he does not learn to stand properly, he could actually learn to walk later than he otherwise would too. Just an observation from a peds nurse.

Ah-dorable. Can’t stand how cute Beanie is!!! He sure is strong – Nate’s no where near thinking about pulling up like that! 🙂

Well cruddy! I was all excited about the video but for some reason it’s just a big blank space! 🙁 I’ll check again later. Sweet bean!

Bean is just so adorable. It reminds me of my nephew at that age, now he is ten going on eleven. Enjoy it while it last they grow up so fast.
