Me: How do you think the baby will know who we are when he’s born?
Chris: He’s gonna know who I am ’cause I’m gonna catch him.
Me: Catch him?
Chris: Yeah, catch him. When he shoots out.
Me: We should probably talk a little bit about the delivery process…

that’s hilarious. that’s something my boyfriend would have thought. only, now that we have a child together, he sorta (only sorta, mind you) knows better.

Well, look at it this way…My husband just told me he’s not “catching” anything….he says I’ll be lucky if he’s even in the room 🙂

My husband won’t be in the delivery room for the grand finale either. I am going to get a “doula” it is a person who specializes in making your labor easier and helps out when the husband can’t! I think our marriage would struggle if I required Troy to be in there for the final push. Tell Chris to Youtube live birth and then ask him what he think:)

Chris – WARNING! There very well may be things “shooting out”, but it won’t be the baby, and you won’t want to catch. I say stand aside and let the guys that earn the big bucks do the catching. 🙂
