“Gracie, do you want me to help you?”
“NO! I do it mysef.”
“You sure you don’t want Mommy to help you?”
“NO! Gaycee is a big gul. I do it mysef.”
“AAAAAHHHHHHHH!” Gracie cried out in frustration. “Ma shurt is boken!”
“Do you want some help?” I tried asking again.
“No. I fix it mysef.”
“Gaycee do it!” she shouted in victory.
“Oh, thank goodness!” I sighed.
“Now I do my shoits.”
“Here we go…” I muttered under my breath.
“Good girl, Gracie! You did it all by yourself!”
“Gaycee is a big gull!” Gracie squealed. “I put on my shoez now.”

She’s so CUTE!! I am teaching a lesson in church on Sunday on raising resilient children – Gracie reminded me of it! She doesn’t give up when things get hard – she’s STUBBORN – that will be a good thing one day when it’s not directly affecting YOU, momma. Haha, she is so cute!!
